WHO WE ARE

Owner and CEO of Bonum Development, Lars Svensen has been self-employed since 1998 and is behind the development and construction of a number of building projects.

Bonum Development is based in Tønder in the very south of Jutland, Denmark. Most of our development projects are in Copenhagen, however, where the level of construction activity is much higher. This doesn’t mean that we are not interested in projects outside Copenhagen, though. We have been managing projects from 1,000 square meters to 10,000 square meters, from classic properties for housing and business to modular construction work in steel and recyclable materials.

Bonum Development develops construction projects. When we construct new buildings, we attach high importance to the surroundings and the qualities of the site. We always consider the existing vegetation, differences in level, and views. Sustainability and climate proofing are a matter of course in our development work.

We are also happy to work with old building stock. We excel in the challenge of creating modern, functional, and sustainable solutions with due respect for history and the soul of the building. Thus, we strive to preserve the original materials and the fine craftsman qualities to the greatest extent possible.

We Build on Confidence

We are true to our word, and when we say that you can have faith in us – we mean it. It is vital to us, that the investors we work with can rest assured and be confident that we are in control of the process and the construction projects in their entirety. We therefore focus on transparency and handing over buildings in a well-documented way. When we hand over a building, we also hand over all relevant documentation relating to the building.

We believe in decency – also at the building site

Bonum Development is primarily an administrative and development company and we take on jobs as individual trade contracts, general contracts, and turnkey contracts. We do not have our own craftsmen employed at the building sites, but we still uphold a good and safe site. We only enter into agreements with business partners and suppliers we can vouch for, also when it comes to working conditions and safety. We have a close cooperation based on mutual respect with all our suppliers and contractors, and we maintain a good dialogue with their association.
